Mega Plugin Update – BWP Plugins are now officially sponsored by

I hate to say this, but it has truly been a while since a plugin update, and it was my bad I know.

Today I give you a mega update, in which all BWP Plugins are updated and are now WordPress 3.7 compatible (even the ancient BWP Polldaddy and BWP Syntax, yes!).

Having said that, BWP Minify version 1.2.3 is probably the most-wanted update of all (check its changelog for more details).

Another important update this time is the sponsorship of for all BWP Plugins. You’re gonna see a small banner under the donation box right after you update, and I hope it looks slick enough for you to click on (no I do not earn anything from the click).

ManageWP’s services is good, I would highly recommend them whenever possible; and now with their sponsorship in hand, updates for all plugins should be more regular.

    I updated to WP 3.7, then updated the BWP Better Comments plugin to the most recent version. It triggered the following fatal error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in [path]/wp-content/plugins/bwp-recent-comments/includes/class-bwp-recent-comments.php on line 427

    That line in the code is:
    add_filter('bwp_ad_showable', function() { return false;});
    I don’t think you can pass a callback function to add_filter that way.

    I added a function to the class:
    function bwp_ad_showable_callback_function() { return false;}

    Then I changed the add_filter to:
    add_filter(‘bwp_ad_showable’, array($this, ‘bwp_ad_showable_callback_function’);

    I then re-activated the plugin and it worked.

      Hi Eric, thanks for reporting.

      I have actually commented out that line in my local dev but due to an update issue that line is still there in the SVN codes. You can just remove that line completely without worrying about writing a function for that filter.

      Thanks again 🙂

    I have the following error when uploading your plugin.

    Warning: Missing argument 3 for wpseo_upgrader_process_complete() in /home3/ijava2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/wpseo-non-ajax-functions.php on line 259

    I am not sure how to fix it, but I can fix it if you provide the solution. Thank you. This is a good plugin, btw.

      That error seems to come from WordPress SEO plugin, which plugin of mine are you uploading?
