14 Opinions for BWP Minify 1.3.0 – Can you tame this beast?

We have a network installation, WordPress 3.9.1, and BWP Minifi 1.3.0

login.css being minified is causing the login page to have no styling. I can set this to ignore for one site, but I need to set it for the whole network as there are too many sites to set to ignore login.css one by one. Is there a way to do this in the config file so it will apply to the entire network?

    Thank You!

Very nice! Thank you for a great plugin. My question is about CDN support.
I want to use a Dreamspeed CDN account. I put in the alias domain and configured the BWP settings but it is not sending anything to the CDN. Not sure what else to do. Suggestions appreciated.

      Hi there,

Please update to 1.3.1 and see if works for you, there was a bug in 1.3.0 that prevents CDN from working.

Hello, I’m having trouble creating the sitemap for my website:

It is a Sub-folder Mult-site installation, and when I create the sitemap I only see it for the Main one, If I want to create one for each individual sub-folder-site, I have to go one by one, and I end up having 7 or 8 different sitemaps. How can I create one unique sitemap for all of this? Or how can I easily integrate all of the sitemaps together?

Can you please help me on how to configure this?

    Thanks for a great plug-in.

May I know what is the advantage if I turn on friendly URLs ?

Friendly URLs don’t use query variables so some speed measuring tools like them better. Also you have shorter minify strings which aren’t painful to look at (they’re friendly!).

Actually the best benefit is you can have the server serve minified contents, which is generally faster. You can move minified contents to your preferred folder too (for e.g. /wp-content/cache/).

I checked my blogs html code and there were about 7 more css files besides the bwp minify css even though I hadn’d excluded any of them from minification.

Why is that and how can I include them into the minified css file?

By the way… only 2 of them had “min” in the file name, so this can’t be the reason why.

Also your captcha says enter two words, but there’s just a number in the image.

BWP Minify can only minify files that are properly enqueued, so if any file is printed directly (some plugins/themes still do this) it won’t be minified unfortunately.

Regarding the captcha it’s a recent change from Google and I haven’t updated the theme to accommodate that change so 🙂

Changing size of gravatar doesn’t work – only 40 working fine.

Hi there! I’ve been using your Minify plugin with great success, but only today did I realize that it doesn’t seem to be working on WooCommerce Product Pages – instead of combining files as it does correctly on all other pages, it serves them individually. Any idea why this could be the case? Thanks!

Hi, I’m using Apache with mod_expires
    “ExpiresActive On

    ExpiresByType text/css “access 1 month”
    ExpiresByType text/javascript “access 1 month”
    ExpiresByType text/x-javascript “access 1 month”
    ExpiresDefault “access 2 days”
This works for all resources except those which are minified. ‘Max Age’ is set from config.php, but there is no ETag. Google Page Speed requires ETag. How can this be achieved?
