Topic: [Resolved] Google Webmaster errors with domain mapping on multi-site

I have a Wordpress 3.0 multisite network running, and use the domain mapping plugin so that blogs on my site can have their own domain. So for example:

mainsite.com
- customdomain.com (is actually blog1.mainsite.com)

Problem is, the BWP plugin adds customdomain.com to the site.xml sitemap, and Google Webmaster reports the following error for that entry:

URL not allowed
This url is not allowed for a Sitemap at this location.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I believe you will  have to disable the site.xml sitemap for now (there's an option in the Generator tab). Since mapped domains should not be added to the sitemap anyway, I will exclude them in next release. Stay tuned!

Hey jimnastics,

I am running multisite also, were you able to get this running.  If yes, would you post your solution?  If no, do you want to work on this together?
